Beausoleil is a quiet secluded lake set in the gentle rolling countryside on the edge of the Bretagne region of Northwest France, about one and a half hours drive from the port of St. Malo.
The fishing for carp and catfish is second to none. You and your party (maximum 4 people) will have exclusive use of the private lake and house, and once you have closed the gates, it really is a different world.

Beausoleil contains an impressive stocking of carp ranging from 15 lbs to 50 lbs, including at least 30 carp over the 30lb barrier.
There are also 40 large catfish from 25lbs to 95 lbs, plus grass carp to 32lbs and 4 sturgeon to 22lbs.
In December 2009 the lake was professionally netted and the vast majority of the small carp below 15lbs and catfish below 25lbs were removed. There are no bream, poisson chat or crayfish in the lake.
With a swim right in front of the house and others all around the lake, it provides the perfect place for you and your party to fish in comfort, or if necessary move to where the fish are showing. The shallows at the top end of the lake are an ideal place for stalking or fishing off the top.
There can be no doubt why this lovely lake continues to capture the hearts of many anglers and their families because they just keep coming back year after year. Once you have seen it, you too will realise why.
