7 June 2014 – Catch report from: Mick, Paul, Tony, Brett & Wayne

Three more 30’s and a pair of big cats out this week from our exclusive carp fishing venue.

This week we welcomed back Mick and the guys for another crack at our specimen carp and catfish. As a rule we do not allow a group of five anglers to fish our lake but Mick was really insistent that he needed to bring 4 mates this year and as he had visited us before we bent the rules to accommodate his needs for this year. Even with each angler being limited to two rods, they did agree that five people was too many and next year they will be splitting themselves into a couple of groups to get the best from the venue. Despite the additional angler, everyone caught and there were multiple P.B’s broken. I know that both Paul and Mick were delighted with their big cats. At the end of the session Mick explained that the guys really love the venue and the way we run it. They’ve been to other French venues but none come close to Beausoleil which was lovely to hear. They wanted to come back in September but we are already booked solid till 4th November so unfortunately they’ll have to wait another year to visit what for them is the only place to fish in France. We very much look forward to welcoming them back!
