Before you visit us, you can access all the knowledge we have accumulated about fishing the lake on this site, on our blog and on our YouTube channel. When you arrive, we will go around the lake together and explore the features and the swims. During your stay, I am always happy to guide you and share my fishing tactics and tricks with you.

What we’re about
We are passionate about Beausoleil and proud of the reputation we have established for quality of service. Each year, we make the venue a better environment for the fish and the anglers. By improving water quality and implementing a highly nutritious feeding program, our fish continue to get bigger, stronger and more special to catch. We want our carp and catfish to live happy and healthy lives so we take fish care very seriously.
The history of Beausoleil
There can be few carp and catfish anglers in England who have not heard of the Millers Carp and Cat fishing lakes. For many years, the lakes have attracted carp and catfish anglers looking to catch specimen fish in peaceful surroundings, with comfortable, exclusive accommodation. One of the original Millers Carp and Cat fishing lakes, Beausoleil is today owned and run by myself Matt, and my partner Irène.

I have been chasing river carp for several years and I absolutely love it. As an extension to your carp fishing holiday at Beausoleil, we can offer experienced anglers guided river carp tours on the beautiful Mayenne river. Packages can be customized to your exact needs and priced accordingly. My PB river carp is 36lbs and every year multiple 40’s are banked so there really is the chance of banking the fish of a lifetime.
