Rigs and bait: carp angling’s two hottest topics

I’ve never met any carp angler who doesn’t have strong opinions on either of these subjects. It’s said that you are either a bait man or a rig man which is a bit daft really as both are very important. I’ve been rolling my own bait for the last three years and love it! I’ve always loved tinkering with rigs and believe we still have a long way to go as every year the carp seem to be able to up their game! Pressured carp are hard to catch and for me it’s what makes them fascinating.
