Carp fishing at the ragged edge
I always saw river carping as the holy grail of the sport. The ultimate test of my skills. Five years down the river and my attitudes have changed a little. River carping is still the ultimate buzz it always was but it’s actually not that hard once you master the basics. I did blank for a year though! Catching a river carp over 40lbs is still the angling equivalent of climbing Everest and I’m edging closer to that goal every year. Here’s what I am learning along the way.
