How to fish from the Oak swim
This is a very under fished corner of the lake. The fishing is done at very close range so you need to be very quiet. A stealthy approach and light baiting work well here as the carp should already be in front of you. A classic spot for a bait is the mouth of the inlet stream on your left or underneath the fir tree to your right.

Fishing tactics
A great place from which to lay some near marginal traps.
Stealth is key as the carp hold up here right under you feet.
