Our fishing holiday venue makes a spooky week’s fishing for these French first timers!
For our last week of 2014 we welcomed another new group to the venue on their first fishing holiday in France. The weather was incredible for this time of year with temperatures reaching 22C°. Unfortunately the guys found the fishing hard going and the carp teased them by relentlessly showing over baits without getting caught. This can be very frustrating to endure but I must congratulate Nick & Chris for their persistence and sense of humour. It wasn’t all doom and gloom though as Nick caught three PB’s and the carp were 30lbs +. As always I shared all my secrets on Tuesday and the guys were very appreciative of my time which is great. The ladies had a very nice time too as it’s a great place to relax and unwind and the scenery is a never ending source of pleasure and photographic opportunity. The group really went to town for Halloween with costumes, face painting and a stunning carved pumpkin copied from the Nash logo. Despite the tough fishing the guys really do want to return and it will be an absolute pleasure to see them again. It was their first trip to France too which is always a big thing.
